Materiality Process

materiality

Woodside considers sustainability topics to be material if they reflect our significant economic, environmental and social impacts, or if they significantly influence the assessments and decisions of our stakeholders.

Each year, we conduct a materiality assessment to identify and understand the sustainability topics of significance to our key stakeholders and our business.

In 2018, this assessment identified four material topics: health and safety performance, social and cultural impacts on communities, climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, and fraud, anti-bribery and corruption.
