Advance fee fraud scams

We never ask prospective suppliers for upfront fees. Our Contractor Verification Service (CVS) is integral to keeping our people safe. The Contractor Verification Service (CVS) has been designed to ensure contractors executing work on Woodside-operated facilities are fit for work, trained and competent. Verification also allows us to meet our commitment to regulators. Qualifications required include:

  • AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness and Fitness for Work (FFW) Medicals
  • Certificates required for certain classifications by law or regulation
  • Certificates for completion of Basic Offshore Survival & Emergency Training with an OPITO-certified issuing body
  • Maritime Security Identification Cards
  • High Risk Work Licences

For more information on our Contractor Verification Service (CVS), refer to the current CVS Information Guide.

When do I apply for access to CVS?

CVS registration is mandatory for gaining facility access. Before a Contractor can work on a Woodside Operational Site, they must meet all contractor verification requirements against the agreed Woodside position.

All qualifications and certifications relevant to the planned scope of work must be uploaded for verification.

Please refer to the current CVS Information Guide for more details on registration, onboarding, and mobilisation.

Who do I contact for help?

Please direct any CVS queries to your nominated Woodside Company Representative and/or Focal Point.

Help support the communities supporting us

As one of Woodside’s key host communities, we’re committed to giving back to the City of Karratha by helping to grow local jobs and the local population.

One way we’re doing that is through an online jobs portal. Designed specifically for residents in the City of Karratha - and people willing to become residents - this online portal provides access to employment opportunities on Woodside-operated facilities or on Woodside projects in Karratha.

We’re also advertising local jobs on offer in the City of Karratha. We’re proud to be a part of this community, which is a great place for families to live and work
