In March 2023, Woodside had four finalists in the Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA Women in Resources Awards, with recognition across three individual categories and one for Outstanding Company Initiative for our Gender Equity focused Employee Resource Groups impact and success over many years to drive improvements.
Woodside’s Melinda Clarke was announced as the winner for the Outstanding Technician/Operator Trade Woman and Kelsie Clarke was announced as the winner for the Outstanding Young Woman in Resources.
Melinda has a mechanical trade background and has worked across Perth and Karratha locations in various roles including Resource Estimator/Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Excellence Advisor. Melinda’s current role is Product Owner.
Kelsie has an engineering background and has worked across a range of roles in Perth and Karratha including Project Engineer, Engineering Support Team Lead and Maintenance Engineering Team Lead. Kelsie’s current role is Business Readiness Lead.
Melinda and Kelsie became finalists in the National Women in Resources Awards with Melinda receiving a highly commended recognition.
