Our Internal Audit team assess the performance of processes and business areas across Woodside to provide insights on opportunities to improve. We provide executive management and the Board with confidence that the business is complying with their expectations and working to continuously improve.

How we do it

We are a diverse team, with people from many areas of the business such as engineers and accountants as well as experienced internal audit professionals. We conduct audits across the business according to a plan that ensures coverage of Woodside’s strategic risks and material sustainability issues. We also undertake unscheduled reviews and audits in response to emergent issues and challenges. We follow international internal auditing standards and our findings are reported to executive management and the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board. The insights from our audits support continuous improvement across the company and are valued at all levels within Woodside.

What we do

Out Logistics team provides services, both domestically and internationally, across Woodside to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable supply chain moving people and materials from source to operation.

How we do it

We provide logistics solutions for offshore, onshore, subsea, drilling and major projects, for both our Australian and international operations. We have experienced industry leaders who play an integral role in a global logistics networks across air, land and sea. and facilities management.

Aviation Operations and Assurance is responsible for providing a framework to ensure the highest level of aviation and travel services and assurance are achieved for all of Woodside's activity in Australia and Internationally.

Marine services support Woodside activities by setting the standards to ensure all marine operations conducted within the scope of Woodside business activities are undertaken safely and effectively. The marine services team comprises of a pool of dedicated marine professionals supplemented by a contracting and commercial specialists to support all business streams.

Materials Material management is the process of ensuring the right materials are available in full and on time to execute work. In materials management, we optimise the cycle or flow of materials within the Woodside supply network. We make sure that Materials are acquired from the right source at the right price at the right time and that Materials are of the right quality and delivered in the right quantity to meet the needs of the business and our customers.

We work with our Geoscience and Drilling and Completions teams to deliver reservoir depletion plans for our customers that are decision driven and business focused across Exploration, Development, Projects and Operations. Together we use leading-edge technologies to recover oil and gas from high pressure reservoirs kilometres below the seabed.
